Dave Campbell's Texas Football's 2027 statewide board opens with a defensive lineman. Cedar Hill's Jalen Brewster is listed as the No. 1 overall prospect in Texas and the No. 1 defensive tackle in the class, carrying a five-star rating on the DCTF board.
Richmond Randle running back Landen Williams-Callis holds the No. 2 overall spot and the No. 1 ranking at his position, also with five stars.
Humble Kingwood offensive tackle Kennedy Brown is No. 3 overall in the state.
The top of the board reflects a pattern that has held in recent Texas cycles: the highest-rated prospects come out of the metro 6A corridors, with Cedar Hill in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Randle in Fort Bend County and Kingwood in the Houston suburbs.
Rankings on our Player Portal follow the DCTF board. Positions, schools and state ranks are updated when DCTF revises its list.
